Dear Sonal and Ginny,

Can’t believe it is already close to a month since Belce and Vik’s wedding celebrations in Istanbul.

Soon after that we have been on nonstop international travel – London, Bangkok, Jakarta, Milan – and now I am on my way back to Dallas after 3 straight weeks on the road. Apologies for this belated note.

We wanted to take a moment to thank the two of you for helping us pull off the most incredible celebration for Belce and Vik. The preparations leading up to the wedding were exceptional – even if it felt at times uncoordinated on our end given our own travels, time zone differences, and need for alignment on key decisions.

Most importantly, the best laid plans are not worth much without strong on the ground execution. You and your broader team really shined on this front. I can’t recall too many times during the weekend where Reshma or I were worried about something in particular. Everything happened exactly the way we planned for and imagined it to be. No doubt this comes from your years of experience making things come to life on the ground. If there were any misses on our part, please chalk that up to lack of awareness rather than indifference!

A sincere thank you to both of you – your patience, persistence, steady hand and voice, and experienced execution – were all much valued by all of us. Wishing you the very best in your onward journeys – I am sure you have weddings lined up through the rest of the year, and timelines to create, manage and execute.
