COVID-19: An Event Planner’s Guide For Handling the Unexpected

What a month it has been with the recent COVID-19 pandemic around the world. A lot of us have had to make sudden changes to our daily routines with self-quarantining and working from home, but these are important steps to take to #stopthespread.

This is a confusing time for our brides. There is a lot of uncertainty and we understand your need for answers. We are here to support you every step of the way.

The biggest thing is to not panic and to stay calm as much as possible. A lot of venues and event partners are being flexible in the wake of all that’s been happening. We suggest you hold onto your date with careful monitoring – and to not cancel your event. We recommend checking in with your venues and event partners every 2-3 weeks to plan the next steps.

After all, you have put a lot of effort into making your big day into a reality… don’t give up! We are keeping a close eye on the news and we recommend you do the same.

While we wait for clearance to move forward, check in with your planner and vendors to come up with contingency plans should any further delays occur.

Again, we wholeheartedly encourage you to not lose faith in your event. We will be here every step of the way (even if it is from a safe distance). Thank you.
