Where to begin…. How about simply put, Sonal, Ginny and the SJS team are wedding planners extraordinaire!
Our journey with the SJS team started when our daughter, Nupur, got engaged to Erfon in February, 2023. Nupur’s dream had always been to get married in Lake Como, Italy. She had been saying that for the better part of the last 15 years! My husband and I were thrilled and excited but also felt anxious and overwhelmed. The newly engaged couple wanted to get married in May, 2024. Where do we even start planning a 300 guest Indian wedding in Lake Como?
We reached out to Sonal; we had attended a few beautifully executed weddings that Sonal and her team had planned and those memorable events had stayed with us! It was the best decision we ever made! We knew we were in good hands and immediately felt at ease that we can do this. Sonal, Ginny and the SJS team worked diligently to help us find the right venues and vendors that fit our bride’s vision for the wedding weekend and negotiated on our behalf tirelessly.
It took almost a year and a half of meticulous planning, including changing the timeline for the wedding one week prior because of concerns over the weather and what all that entailed! We had 300 guests, multiple hotels for the guests, multiple events at multiple venues and logistical challenges in navigating Lake Como. The SJS team though found solutions. They met all the challenges head on and then some! Sonal and Ginny’s attention to detail is impeccable. They are extremely efficient and organized and think fast on their feet when an unforeseen hiccup occurs.
We will be forever grateful to Sonal, Ginny and the SJS team for creating a magical wedding weekend in Lake Como that will be remembered forever by those present. We absolutely could not have done this without your guidance.
