I think it was actually my mom who first found Sonal. We were looking for someone who really understood South Asian weddings but also knew how to navigate a wedding in New York. When we started the process, we reviewed all the incredible events Sonal had done previously and we felt that the investment was absolutely worth it. This is such an important day, and you don’t want anything to go wrong — and she proved that she was worth it.
We had such a great experience -truly amazing. I had so many plans in the beginning — such as no cocktail hour or first look. But Sonal really encouraged us to rethink those, and I’m so glad she did; I would’ve missed out on so much. What I appreciated most was how reassuring and helpful she was throughout the entire process. I was a little nervous at first and thought I’d be super stressed out, but this entire event has been so stress-free — and that’s all because of how well Sonal organized everything. She handled all the chaos behind the scenes, and we just got to enjoy the fun parts, everything was seamless and went so smoothly.
After the wedding, so many guests came up to us saying how much fun they had and how amazing everything was. It was beautiful, but never over the top — just tasteful and classy. If you don’t hire Sonal, you’re going to regret it. Looking back, we’re just so happy, calm, and grateful that everything was taken care of for us.
